Privacy Policy

JBigs TV is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no user accounts and no third-party advertising SDKs in the app. Free playback may include hosted sponsored video breaks served from jbigs.tv. We collect a small amount of anonymous, aggregate usage data, described below, to understand how many people use JBigs TV, whether our website marketing is working, and how sponsored breaks perform.

Your IPTV credentials stay on your computer

The server URL, username, and password for your IPTV provider are stored only on your own device and are sent only to your provider in order to play your content. They are never transmitted to JBigs TV, its developer, or any third party.

What we do process

• License validation (Pro only). When the app validates a Pro license, it sends your license key and an anonymous device identifier to our license server. This is used solely to enforce the device limit and confirm your subscription status.
• Payments. Purchases are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe shares with us only what is needed to issue and manage your license (such as your email address and subscription status).
• Feedback (optional). If you use the in-app feedback form, we receive the message you write, the email address you choose to include, and basic app/system information shown in the form. This is used only to respond to you and improve the app.
• Anonymous app usage stats. When the app starts, it sends a one-way hashed device identifier (the same anonymous ID used for the device limit), the app version, and whether the device is on the Free or Pro tier. This tells us how many people use JBigs TV and which versions are in use. It contains no name, email, IP address, or anything about what you watch, and cannot be traced back to you.
• Hosted sponsored break stats (Free only). When a Free user is eligible for or sees a sponsored break, the app records privacy-safe ad events such as started, quartiles, completed, clicked, or failed. These events include the ad ID, app version, country, tier, timestamp, an anonymous machine hash, and a generated playback session ID. They do not include IPTV credentials, channel names, stream URLs, viewing history, or your raw IP address.
• Download and acquisition measurement. When the installer is downloaded or a Store link is selected, we record the time, country, referring page, campaign parameters, and a one-way hash of the IP address (the raw IP is never stored). On an app's first launch, we may make a one-time, best-effort match to a recent website conversion using that one-way hash. This lets us measure campaign-to-install and campaign-to-purchase performance without storing a raw IP address in our analytics database.
• Website analytics and conversion tracking. This website uses Google Analytics to measure visits and page views, and X Ads conversion tracking to measure whether X ads lead to site visits or downloads. X conversion tracking may use the X pixel, the X click ID, your browser user agent, and your IP address for ad attribution. These services may set cookies in your browser for those purposes.

What we do not do

• We do not collect viewing history, channel lists, or anything about the content you watch.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Sponsors may receive aggregate ad performance reports, such as starts, completions, clicks, failures, country breakdowns, and completion rate.
• We do not run third-party advertising SDKs in the app. Sponsored videos are hosted by JBigs TV and the website uses only the analytics and conversion tracking tools described above.

Data retention and removal

License records live in Stripe and persist for as long as needed to honor your purchase. If you want your feedback emails or license data deleted, contact us and we will remove what we are not legally required to keep.
